My name is Miles Minier, and I am a pitching coach committed to clarity, development, and measurable results. I am entering my fourth year as a high school pitching coordinator and varsity pitching coach, leading pitching staffs that have consistently finished at the top of the league in ERA, strikeouts, hits allowed, opponent batting average, and OPS. Ten of thirteen pitchers in my most recent group finished with ERAs under 2.50, a standard built on preparation, communication, and individualized development.
Before coaching, I played college baseball after beginning my career as a Division 1 commit. I went on to compete at the junior college level, the Division 2 level, and in the NAIA. Experiencing multiple levels of college baseball shaped my understanding of player development and gave me a clear sense of what athletes need in order to grow, adapt, and perform under pressure.
My coaching philosophy blends player centered development with a strong command of modern baseball technology. I use platforms like Rapsodo and Trackman as extensions of my ability to identify what actually wins on the mound. The priority is not collecting data. The priority is turning information into competitive advantages that can be seen in performance and measured over time.
For the past eight years, I have trained pitchers across every level of the game, from youth athletes to professional arms. My approach merges biomechanics, analytics, and competitive psychology. I am fluent in Rapsodo, Trackman, and HitTrax, hold a Level 2 SABR certification, and have completed the Rapsodo Pitching Certification. I am also expanding my understanding of Kinatrax to stay ahead of emerging trends in pitching development. I view my role as part data interpreter, part strategist, and part communicator, focused on creating results that make a difference for players and organizations.
My long term goal is to bring my experience to the professional level and contribute to the growth and performance of pitchers at the highest standard. I see the game through the eyes of a practitioner and a strategist, and I am driven to apply that perspective where expectations are highest.
